The Union of Judicial Employees of the Nation (UEJN), led by Julio Piumato, began a strike with a march at 11 AM this Tuesday in protest against the transfer of national labor justice to the orbit of the City of Buenos Aires. "This is the liquidation of the labor jurisdiction, it is something totally unconstitutional," stated Piumato when calling for the measure of force, which includes a march to the Palace of Tribunals to protest before the Supreme Court of Justice. In line with this measure, workers have been occupying the building at Diagonal Norte 760, belonging to labor justice, since yesterday, with the support of the union. The General Confederation of Labor (CGT) also confirmed its adherence to the march to the Palace of Tribunals alongside the UEJN. "We are fighting by all means to stop this nonsense, because in the history of Argentine justice, a national jurisdiction has never been closed," expressed Piumato through the union's social networks. He added that the transfer of the labor jurisdiction to the City, included in the labor reform law, "is the spearhead to continue the dismantling of national justice and aims to transform a federal country into a totally unitary one." According to Piumato, this transfer seeks "to govern not only labor relations but also economic ones when this touches the commercial jurisdiction," which is in a similar situation to the labor one.
